Plug Into The Planet For Healing

There is a lot of talk about saving planet Earth. As a fellow human being I must agree, this is a great idea! People we need this planet. No DUH. We need it just like it is set up. Air only 21% Oxygen otherwise we’d have blown up during the first lighting storm. The human body is 66% H2O which we must take in daily or we dehydrate rapidly (the planet is covered in water and science can’t explain how it got here. Look it up! They don’t know.) We need air and water to survive. Then you look under your feet and you (hopefully) see dirt. When you make physical contact with soil, ground, grass etc. you are participating in a special kind of healing. It is called Earthing or grounding.
“Earthing” is a thing! There are earthing sleeping mats for sale now! They claim to improve sleep, appetite and mood. In fact the Science Direct article Vol 16, Issue 3, has a more extensive list including reduced fatigue and increased energy, reduced chronic pain and inflammation, elevated mood, lower blood pressure, improves sleep, supports heart health, helps natural immunity, digestion, cancers and even faster recovery from exercise.
The Science Direct website states that Earthing is a part of Lifestyle Medicine. “Earthing (grounding) refers to the discovery that bodily contact with the earths natural electric charge stabilizes the physiology at the deepest levels…” Since the advent of the rubber sole we have lost direct contact with the earth. We need to be grounded and it just so happens, the planet has just the right CHARGE to keep us humming along happily. No wonder mental health issues are skyrocketing, we are disconnected! Our bodies have an incredible electrical system. So does the great ball we reside on. Our body has been created to heal by direct connection to this planet. Not an accident folks! We need to be grounded. It’s simple, it’s FREE. Take off your shoes, walk on the ground or as the Bible says lie down by the still waters in the green grass. Psalm 23
Right here I want to give you a word search challenge. Doesn’t matter if you are a believer or not. Google search the word “earth” in the Bible. Any version. Spoiler ALERT: Evolution is NOT there. Design. Creativity. Beautiful trees, grass and animals made by purpose for our PLEASURE. Making this planet took very precise engineering. I don’t want to give away all the good parts. You will find the whole “Story of Mankind” from Genesis to Revelation in one simple word search “earth”. Bonus points for searching “world”.

I’m just saying maybe we take THE almighty-creator-genius-FATHER GOD a little for granted? He does have THE major role in Making our Mother Earth So Human Friendly.
So back to Plugging Into Earth. The Native Americans wore moccasins, Ranchers wear Cowboy boots and the Dutch wear Wood. When tennis shoes hit the market, our connection was lost. The refreshing comes during and after the experience. Surfers report after a vigorous workout feeling energized. Come on people try something WILD AND CRAZY, TOUCH THE EARTH! It won’t kill you actually. If you feel silly touching a tree or walking barefoot, they do make leather soled shoes but they are a bear to find. Products for grounding to your home is as simple as plugging into a wall socket. Per standard electric codes homes are already grounded.(note: older homes may not be.) These mats come made for the bed or chairs for indoor use. Cost: $50-150 approximately.
In conclusion. Our uniquely human perspective allows to question our design, our beginnings, and that’s a good thing! So do it! Ask “Why am I here? How could I be so perfectly designed? Why does God want to keep me satisfied, healthy and calm? Why is He so, so Good to me?
